Students become more about being the fastest rather than thinking about the questions getting the answers correct. The scores really tell me nothing about each students application of the content because time becomes a variable that decreases the reliability of the quiz results.
Completely agree. They get competitive and care more about being the fastest rather than actually finding the answer. It is hard for me to use it as an assessment tool if they are rushing and not really thinking.
