Hint options for low scoring players to prevent discouragement
I think the ideal hint option for struggling players would be to eliminate one wrong answer choice for the bottom two-thirds of players and eliminate 2 wrong answer choices for the bottom third of players. This would greatly help with the discouragement some kids feel when playing.

Awarding points for getting the question right; however, don’t penalized students for taking a longer amount of time to solve the problem.
I am trying to use this in my classroom for math, and I would like to award points to all students for getting the question right; however, I don't want to have the students penalized for taking a longer amount of time to solve the problem.

Turn music off
I would love the option of turning music and sound effects off during Kahoot. I could play my own music without sound from the game. This is especially beneficial when wanting to play with special ed students where the sounds can be overwhelming.

Create a way to store shared groups
Sharing a Kahoot to another teacher where they have the ability to edit is painful if I want to share with multiple teachers.
I would love to store different groups. Ex:
PreCalc teachers
All Math Teachers (we have 30+ high school math teachers)
Algebra II teachers (we have 12 alg2 teachers)Where I can share with one of my groups (pre-entered usernames)

Permitting students to change their answers (perhaps at the cost of fewer points).
Several times per game, students accidentally hit a response they did not intend to, and are unable to change their answer. This would avoid any such issues and the competitive frustration that learners often feel when it happens to them. If data from this were included in the results spreadsheet, it would help educators to understand not just what students know, but also how confident they feel in their answers (are they changing frequently?).

No nicknames
The nickname feature wastes class time and provides no value. Students log out and back in trying to outdo each other's nicknames so it takes too long for everyone to get started. It's a chance to disrupt the activity before it has started. I would like to turn nicknames off completely. The leaderboard can show the top scores and the students can see if their score is one of the top five. I need to get to my content immediately. The extra data entry is too much for my students.

Extend the leaderboard to top 10 and/or have biggest movers
Would like to see the leaderboard extended to Top 10 as we often do quiz with 30+ in class and/or feature showing which student was biggest mover, either with +/- places or simple up and down arrows
359 votesHi all!
We’ve recently released the highest climber feature. With regards to the leaderboard showing the top 10, it’s still under consideration.
Here are some details on the highest climber:
The highest climber feature will randomly appear on leaderboard screens identifying who’s moved up most in rank within the last three questions. It has roughly a 33% chance of populating if the following conditions are met:
- the highest climber must be outside of the top 5 leaderboard
- the highest climber needs to have moved at least 3 positions upPer those conditions, having a larger group of players will increase your odds of seeing this features. 8 players is the minimum.

Option to show/hide leaderboards and scores in between questions.
As an educator, the option to show/hide the results would be awesome!
Please fix it!353 votes -

Have disappearing wrong answer choices over time (accomodations for struggling students)
It would be awesome to see wrong answer choices disappear every 5 seconds or so. This would help limit as many choices for students with IEPs, satisfying teachers duty to provide accomodations for students. It would also boost confidence and allow struggling students a greater possibility to get the answer right.
